“I am here to support you in discovering your authentic self. Let’s optimize your mental health so that you can lead a more meaningful and fulfilling life.”

Welcome to my private practice. I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who trained at UCSF, Columbia, and Cornell. I have expertise in psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and working with queer, gender diverse (transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive), and neurodivergent (autistic and ADHD) youth and adults. I am a WPATH SOC8 (World Professional Association for Transgender Health Standards of Care 8) Certified Mentor and Member.

I am trained in multiple modalities/approaches, including gender-affirmative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and neurodiversity-affirming assessment.

I take a harm-reduction, patient-centered approach and enjoy working collaboratively with shared-decision making. I view patients holistically and consider lifestyle interventions in addition to psychotropic medications. I also consider the systems that individuals are embedded in, such as the family and academic systems, and work with parents/caregivers, families, significant others, and schools when needed. I welcome diversity, including all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, abilities, body sizes, and religions. I am neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQ+-affirming, trauma-informed, and practice cultural humility.
